Governor Wes Moore and Lt. Governor Aruna Miller joined MD Two Fifty to kick off Maryland’s commemoration of the U.S. Semiquincentennial in April 2025. An initiative to commence the celebration of America’s 250th birthday, individuals and organizations across the country hung two lanterns in honor of Paul Revere’s midnight ride on April 18-19, 1775.
